Helping with Dentaid and Topdental
Dentaid provides oral healthcare for people experiencing homelessness and other hard to reach groups across the UK using mobile dental units that travel the UK providing outreach dental clinics for people who struggle to access treatment.
Focused on helping vulnerable people who’ve been living with the misery of toothache and restore their self-esteem by giving them more confidence in their smile. Oral healthcare can help patients move on to a new chapter in their lives.
Topdental donated a wide range of different products to Dentaid;
Since the Covid pandemic demand for Dentaid’s work has skyrocketed and the charity now has seven mobile units and a dental trailer that will be used for 500 UK clinics in 2023.
Dentaid also supports dentists in Africa, Asia and South America helping them to provide care in poor and remote communities. Providing them with equipment, funding outreach projects and giving teams of UK volunteer dental professionals the chance to work alongside them.
This truly is a worthwhile cause that Topdental and the Directa Dental Group are proud to support. It’s great to know that some of our products are being used for the people that need them most.
